Arrest Referral Practitioner

Prior experience working within arrest referral or within a DIP team is essential. Previous experience conducting assessments and doing case management with substance misuse clients is also essential. Knowledge of all relevant legislation and drug intervention programmes would also be a benefit.

The candidate will be conducting initial assessments following an arrest in the custody suite within police stations with substance misuse clients. Clients will have tested positive on arrest and will have an initial assessment with a view to referring them into appropriate services. Further to this the applicant will be required to adhere to the test on arrest legislation.
