Embedded C Linux Wireless Bath/SouthWest

Strong embedded Linux software development engineer for state of the art fabless wireless start-up. Candidate will have strong embedded C experience, developing software drivers for Linux OS, including knowledge of Linux make / scripting utilities, Linux optimizations, experience with GNU tool chain, GCC, Make and the GDB debugger. Real-time, ARM/PowerPC a bonus.

Embedded Software engineer for Linux OS and drivers sought.

A new and rewarding position exists for an Embedded Linux engineer with my client based in the south-west to develop Linux device drivers on their wireless platform development team.

Core requirements to be met include:
o Solid C & Assembler.
o Embedded Linux development and compiling , device drivers, make / scripting utilities.
o Experience with GNU tool chain, (GCC, Make and GDB etc).
o UNIX skills, including simple shell scripting.

Desirable Skills
o Embedded system debug (JTAG debug, Debug monitors, print(f)(k) etc).
o ARM9, ARM11 / Power PC (PQIII) knowledge.
o Open Source software as a user or developer.
