European Logistics Manager

Our client, a global market leading provider of central laboratory testing services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, is currently seeking to recruit a globally focussed and business minded individual to coordinate and manage all aspects of logistics for the clinical trials operation within Europe.

This is a client focussed role requiring a credible and focussed individual who holds experience of the import/export of dangerous goods, preferably within a shipping environment and within a pharma or biotech industry.

The successful candidate will require experience at an international level, with prior incident of managing transportation spend, working in conjunction with Sales and Project Management teams, negotiating SLA’s and contracts as well as monitoring courier performance and developing a global logistics strategy.

This is an exciting and diverse role offering strong potential for career progression. Along with the opportunity for frequent international travel, you will be working in close conjunction with your US counterpart to harmonise global services and processes and represent Logistics on the European Leadership Team.
