Vero Solutions presently has a requirement for an experienced Software Test Engineer – Telecoms to be based in a partner’s development facility in Shannon, co. Clare.

Role Overview
Working for Vero Solutions on-site in a development partner’s facility you will as a member of the Test Department be responsible for the System Testing of new releases on Solaris/Linux/Sybase platforms.

Responsibilities
• UNIX Scripting, configuration skills
• Analysing customer data
• Problem reporting & tracking
• Acting as liaison for Vero Solutions with Senior customer personnel and ensuring effective and smooth management of relationship

Requirements
• The ideal candidate will have experience in testing the message flow and billing of Sessions/Events – e.g. MMS/GPRS/SM
• Experience with the following protocols
o CAP3(SS7)
o Diameter IP
o Parlay Client (Corba transaction) (IP)
