Software Developer

My client is looking for a experienced VB/SQL programmer/developer . Working as part of a specialist software team, the successful applicant would be autonomous by nature and capable of taking charge of a project, and developing the full life cycle of an application from analysis to delivery. Must be self-motivated - good at working to task deadlines and reporting accurately against these.

Essential Skills: Knowledge of Visual Basic (VB 7 or 8), .NET. Knowledge of SQL / MYSQL Server technology, Knowledge of Web based and SMS based applications.

Desirable Skills: Good problem solving skills, ability to demonstrate the ability to plan, organise, co-ordinate and monitor ongoing activities.

30-40K Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Some flexibility regarding hours of work required i.e. occasional weekends.
