BMS 1 Haematology

Our client is one of the world's largest clinical testing companies performing more than 250 million tests annually for 10 million patients worldwide. From their top quality laboratory facilities in West London they offer a complete pathology service to NHS Trusts, GPs, private sector hospitals and health screening clinic.

We are seeking to appoint an HPC registered Biomedical Scientist Grade 1 to work within the Haematology Department. The department is fully equipped with leading edge technologies and offers the highest quality in-house training with ongoing support for personal development.
The main focus of this position is to carry out all routine technical procedures, including Haemoglobin electrophoreses and flow cytometry, maintaining a high quality standard throughout.

The successful applicant must be HPC registered, hold a BSc science degree or equivalent qualification and have experience within diagnostic haematology testing. This would suit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and excellent technical abilities.
