Snr. Systems Engineer - Sun Solaris, Redhat Linux, VCS, Veritas

An international IT Consulting company are recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer / Administrator with a solid background in Sun Solaris and Redhat Linux. The successful candidate will be a key member of the System Administration Team providing 2nd/3rd level O/S support services, including the progression and resolution of O/S problems, providing system administration and technical support on at least two operating systems. You will have the ability to build, install, configure and troubleshoot one or more products within own discipline taking responsibility for the technical implementation, internally or on client site, in own area of expertise, and contributing to and writing detailed and good quality documentation to support technical implementation work. In additional to your Solaris and Redhat Linux expertise, any experience in VCS Veritas Cluster Server and EMC storage administration would help secure your interview. Salaries for these positions are in the region of £45K - £55K base (neg upto £60k for candidates with solid VCS) + a 10% company performance related bonus plus an excellent company benefits package.
