Java/J2EE Developer

Strategic Systems Solutions is a global IT consultancy with offices across the UK, US, Singapore and China. We work with the world’s financial services sector and have developed strong multi-year partnerships with our clients.

We are looking for a J2EE architect/designer who is able to work with the client to define the architectural approach for each project. The successful candidate will then work in an agile manner with far shore resources to design and develop the system to high quality.

The role will be based in any of our UK offices - Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham, Liverpool or Preston. There will be occasional travel to London.

Essential skills:
Strong communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Java, EJBs, JMS and JUnit

Desired skills:
Experience of working with far shore resources
WebLogic experience
Agile development
