My client is looking for an experienced, pro-active C# applications developer to work with their clients Market Making team,

The successful applicant will take a proactive development role developing high quality front end components written in C#. It is important that they have a flair for high quality coding, a disciplined approach and an appreciation of testing and quality assurance. They must be able to translate business requirements in to flexible, well structured designs with an emphasis on interfaces and appropriate levels of abstraction.

An experienced developer is required with the following skills.:
* Strong OO design & development skills
* C# Applications Development (Winforms, GUIs)
* Multithreading design & coding
* Communication protocols and coding (some of: Messaging, TIB/RV, SOAP or similar)
* Source control systems (Subversion)


The following skills would be advantageous:
* Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc)
* Knowledge of the Windows platform
* Mathematical background
* Knowledge of equity derivative products
* Test driven development


Salary & Benefits
£30,000 -£38,000 (dependent on experience, possibly up to £40k with relevant banking
experience)
25 Days annual holiday
Contributory Pension Scheme (employer contribution of 5%)
