Referral Order Co-ordinator (YOS)

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an understanding of referral orders and other relevant legislation as well as being familiar with the application of restorative justice principles. Further to this the candidate must have an understanding and working knowledge of Youth Offending Team services and the manner in which the application of such services meets the needs of young people, victims and the community. Any team leading experience would be a benefit but is not essential.

The candidate will have responsibility for ensuring the efficient organisation of the referral order project and the co-ordination of the YOT work on the project. The applicant may also be required to work with individuals, groups and agencies that need to be informed of and involved in the referral order project and may be required to promote the project to local communities. The candidate will also manage a team of volunteers within the YOT service
