Education training and employment officer

Experience giving education, training and employment advice to clients with substance misuse issues and ex offenders is essential. Knowledge of substance misuse relapse triggers and repeat offending patterns is essential.

A London council is looking for an education, training and employment officer to take on a case load of clients who have come through drug and alcohol detox or through the criminal justice system. The role will involve assessing clients and devising appropriate work plans relevant to their histories and taking account of possible relapses or repeat offending. This will primarily involve linking clients into suitable education training or employment.
