Substance misuse group worker

Experience case managing drug and alcohol clients is essential. Experience facilitating group work would also be essential. Experience with complementary therapies, such as shiatsu, homeopathy or auricular acupuncture would be a benefit.

A substance misuse organisation is looking for a project worker to take on a case load of substance misuse clients offering them key working support and advice on harm reduction advice as well as linking them into other services. The role would also involve the facilitating of groups across a number of topics so there would be the opportunity to gain experience with different groups. The service also offers complimentary therapies and would give the successful candidate the opportunity to practice these.
