Our client is a leading company in the multi-metal processing and distribution sector. Each local business is supported by the strength of not only a national company but also a highly successful international group. Their operation in Leeds is both long established and highly profitable and is regarded as a key business within the group.
Administration support is an integral function within the warehousing and process operations of the company. As the Lead Administrator you will be responsible for managing the work of the administration team involved in the booking in of deliveries and recording of materials going through the processing and warehousing operations. Other duties will include quality checks, handling non conformance and quarantine issues and dealing with any anomalies within the system. Essentially the role is about the efficient co-ordination of staff and resources in a high volume processing and distribution operation.
You must therefore be a highly organised individual, with good people management skills, coming from an administrative background in, ideally, processing, distribution and/or manufacturing. Other sector experience will also be considered.
