Quantity Surveyor - Utilities

A Vacancy has arisen within out clients team for a Quantity Surveyor - with experience within the Utilities sector

Requirements
Ideally you will have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or be able to demonstrate relevant and appropriate experience in the Quantity Surveying field
Recently chartered or working towards chartered status
Sufficient and appropriate post graduate experience in a PQS environment
Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of working on utilities projects, or able to demonstrate a willingness and interest to work in the utilities sector.
Robust contract experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant conditions of contract
Ability to work on own initiative within a team environment
Excellent client facing skills with the ability to represent our client
Ability to gain the confidence of both colleagues and clients
Superb communication skills
Able to rise to the challenge
You will be expected to carry out a full range of Quantity Surveying / Cost Management duties, therefore should be familiar with all aspects of the function and be able to work with all members of the Project Team including Project Managers and Planning Supervisors.
The ability to work to deadlines, within budget and to the project brief is essential.

Driving Licence/Level of mobility required in the role.
