Engineering Manager (OSLO)

Engineering Manager, Contract (until approx. end of 2008), Market Rates, Oslo, Norway.

Our client provides multi-discipline engineering services in Norway and internationally. The company has frame agreements with large operators and contractors operating within the oil and gas business.

Our client has a requirement for an Engineering Manager to be based in Oslo in Norway on a project to build an LNG terminal plant close to Oslo. This will be on a contract basis until approx the end of 2008. You should have relevant previous experience from a project development/execution role.

You will be involved in managing all technical project activities an work in accordance with project goals, governing documentation and regulations. You will be responsible for the verification and supervision of contractors engineering work and will be require to participate in weekly status meeting internally and with the engineering contractor. You should be confident in managing all technical interface handling between subprojects and interface parties in the sub projects (ship, terminal, transport and satellites) in the LNG to Oslo project.
