Engineering Manager (STAVANGER)

Engineering Manager, Contract (until 2009), Market Rates, Stavanger, Norway.

Our client provides multi-discipline engineering services in Norway and internationally. The company has frame agreements with large operators and contractors operating within the oil and gas business.

They have a requirement for an Engineering Manager to be based in Stavanger in Norway on a contract basis (duration of contract is until March 2009). You should have previous experience in a similar role (e.g. project management/development) and have a good knowledge of governing documentation.

You will be managing all engineering activities and developing and managing the project team as required. You will be involved in technical evaluation of bidders, system and detail engineering, planning and performing design verification activities, technical interfaces etc. You will also be required to manage and coordinate the engineering/technical development within approved HSE, cost, time and quality targets
