Map Sales Executive
The PIE Guide is a small, fast-growing niche map publishing and online mapping business, expert at providing customised maps with relevant information to specific communities need. Our publishing division prints quality maps that are tailored to the unique needs of specific transport communities. Our customers rely on our publications to help them get around as quickly, easily and cheaply as possible. We have published high quality maps tailored to the unique needs of motorbike riders, lorry drivers, disabled drivers and van drivers. We are constantly developing new publications, which are sold directly to customers, via retail outlets and in bulk.
This role is about fronting volume sales for us. You will be responsible for bulk sales of all publications, both business-to-business and business-to consumer, to end-users and resellers.
You must be a good sales person and closer, a self starter, independent and able to apply yourself to work out new channels and selling opportunities. We need entrepreneurial flair with a balance of being able to do the sales.
Main duties
As part of the marketing team, the map sales executive will:
• Be responsible for targeted high-volume sales revenues from all publications
• Identify prospective high-volume customers (resellers and end-users)
• Pre-sell new publications
• Sell existing publications
• Update and add to customer and prospects database
Success in the position will be measured by weekly and monthly and quarterly sales targets.
