Experience with assessments of the withdrawl symptoms of opiate users essential. Experience advocating prescriptions for substitutes and with titration essential.



A local service is looking for a substance misuse worker to take on a case load of up to 30 chaotic opiate clients and through initial assessments advocate prescriptions for substitutes (methadone and buprenorphine). The role will involve the creation of care plans with a view to stabalising the clients through key working .
