Enterprise Architect Lead

Job Role:
- To craft and deliver business value justification, solution architecture & integration, business process change, IT/Business governance, and organizational change management.
- Helps customers think through and define their IT strategy and resulting requirements. Can create conceptual and logical architectures for the solution which might include infrastructure, including network, data, middleware, applications, security, and OSS. Individual engages subject matter experts from within the Cisco services organization (CA), the development business units (CDO) and/or partners as needed. Individual applies IT operational experience to build most IT business architectures needed for a successful implementation, enlisting business SMEs (e.g., financial analysts) as needed.
Builds plans and directs implementations of the solution. Applies relevant vertical industry experience in helping customers solve problems.
- Work with a customer to facilitate IT strategy and requirements and provide complete technical solution for a large enterprise and of high complexity. Can lead multi-company, cross-functional technical teams. Can provide complete business architecture for most IT functions.
- Identifies key current and possible future problems, and solves them inter-dependently, using professional knowledge, seasoned judgment and the policies / procedures of multiple parties.
- Collaborates closely with multiple parties from the customer, Cisco (across the company) and partners. Works independently and consults with Cisco executives on high level, complex issues.

Skills Required
- MS or MBA strongly preferred. Requires 11-15 years working experience in a combination of IT consulting / systems integration, IT management / senior staff roles, and high tech industry roles
- Complete technical architecture: deep expertise in two or more technology domains (network/infrastructure, data, applications / middleware) but fluency in all technology domains. Fluency in network technologies and related, advanced technologies. Expertise in most soundness disciplines (availability, security, etc.) and operations disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.) Expertise in IT business architecture areas including business process design and governance.
- Skills in directing teams comprised of direct reports, matrixed reports and 3rd parties. Program implementation skills including project portfolio management, and the planning, reporting and directing the work of others across multiple implementation projects concurrently. Mentors team members.
- Should be able to understand both the Business as well as Technology
- Should have experience in the Financial Industry
- Very strong people management skills
