Embedded Software Engineer

Wimax Communications is looking for a design and implementation of real-time embedded MAC software engineer for wireless systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Design & Architecture of real-time MAC software based on 802.16 standard.
• Develop and test the required software code in a high level embedded language such as C or C++.
• Assist in testing MAC software and wireless system in-house and at customer locations .
Job Requirements:
• 5+ years experience developing wireless and networking products.
• Experience in MAC software development in 802.11, 802.16 or other wireless products.
• Experience in Networking standards and stacks.
• Must be a C/C++ guru with product development experience.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks.
• Adept at using embedded software development tools.
• MSc with 5 years exp. or BSc with 7 years exp.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of software development process and technical documentation.
• Ability to develop test routines in C/C++/Perl/Python or Assembly to debug and test wireless systems.
Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of 802.16 wireless standard.
• System-level knowledge of wireless networking.
