Commissioning Engineer (experienced in DWDM).

For one of our customers in United Kingdom, we are currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer (experienced in DWDM).

You will provide; System turn up, testing and on site trouble shooting. Test procedure Rollout and Delivery.

Duties:
Maintain test & turn-up schedules including all results
Perform system level test & commissioning of all products.
Provide on site trouble shooting, with view to resolve.
Liaise/work with Technical support on problems/issue found in the field.

Skills:
DWDM
Familiar with the use of various test equipment.
Systems level trouble shooting on fiber optic telecommunications transmission equipment.
Knowledge of various transmission protocols.
Able to document test procedures

Education & Experience:
Associate degree or telecommunications transmission experience.
Proven experience with the operation of fiber optic transmission equipment.
Previous experience in a commissioning/ technical support environment.
Test and turn up experience with fiber optic systems. Specifically DWDM
