1st 2nd Line Support Engineer
My client is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide 1st/2nd Line support on various client sites located across London & South East for Surrey based Company.
Ideal candidate will be used to attending on site days at client's sites dealing directly with their end users and the client's other IT operatives, resolving user & network issues and server configurations.
To be successful in this role the candidate will need excellent customer facing & communication skills and be technically competent in all Microsoft Desk Top Applications, operating systems and server administration.
Essential Skills:
Windows XP Professional, installation, configuration and administration, Microsoft Office applications - particularly Outlook, Active Directory Administration, and a good understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Experience with call logging systems, following client's procedures and taking ownership of on-going issues is essential
