General Manager Technical Operations

A high growth international company requires a technically proficient leader with experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Scaffolding
• Steel fabrication
• Temporary construction

As a hands on manager, they will be required to establish and police procedures to ensure the on site teams meet the project requirements. Responsibility will also extend to Warehousing.

The successful candidate will require mastery of the practical aspects of at least one of the technical disciplines involved in construction. They will also need to be a competent cost controller to ensure budgets are met.

This is a role that will require involvement in a project from inception through planning and delivery. Experience of managing the customer when onsite is important to maintain the reputation of the company.

Liaising with the largely overseas suppliers will require European travel and fluency in French would be an advantage.

The role will be a member of the senior team and offers excellent promotional prospects.
