Principal & Senior Environmental Sustainability Advisors

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of London’s local government bodies responsible for Greater London’s transport strategy. Due to the continual development of their environment and sustainability projects, our client is now looking to recruit the positions of both Principal and Senior Environmental Sustainability Advisor.

You will be responsible for the co-ordination of environmental appraisal work, including the compiling of environmental statements authored by consultants. You will be required to work closely with internal design teams to ensure that environmental/sustainability issues are considered throughout the design process.

Role Responsibility

§ Provide advice and strategies relating to environmental matters

§ Manage the range of environmental planning and assessment activities, ensuring EIA, SA and HIA assessments are being conducted to a high standard

§ Establish close working relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders

§ Act as an Expert Witness in enquiries and committees when requested

Ideally you will be a confident communicator both in written and verbal form. It's important that you are able to write high quality reports and hold relevant experience in conducting impact assessment studies.
