Food Technologist

Based in Cambridgeshire, our client, an ambient food importer who supplies the major retailers is currently looking to develop their team with the appointment of a professional and energetic Food Technologist.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will ensure the documented quality system is maintained and that the requirements of the customer are met in terms of product safety, legality and quality. Knowledge of UK, EC and Codex Alimentarius food laws and regulations is essential.

We’re looking for a degree/HND qualification in Food Technology or similar, plus at least one years experience in food manufacturing. Passionate for food, you will be part of a small hard-working, flexible and self-motivated team who strive for success. You will have the communication skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and suppliers. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for two major retailers.
