MOBILE DATA ROLLOUT PROJECT MANAGER

The Role
Mobile Data Project Manager is to launch Mobile Data products (mobile Internet access, picture messaging, mobile email etc.) in the selected Operating Company. Drive the launch project from the commercial perspective and align technical and commercial development. It is important to follow-up the best practice launch methods - adapted to the local conditions.

Mobile Data Product Management knowledge
Identify and apply best practice in product launch project and support the key people in an Operating Company to launch Mobile Data products that will deliver the business case.
Key activities:
· Plan and manage the mobile data launch project from all the functional aspects with the Company’s local OpCo teams including product marketing, market communications, customer care, sales, IT, billing and network operations
· Special focus on planning marketing and sales activities with The company’s marketing and sales teams that will attract local customer demand for Mobile Data services
· Act as a spokesperson for Mobile Data products and their benefits
· Train commercial teams at the company OpCo to take ownership in Mobile Data products after the launch
· Develop and direct a market driven approach to launch Mobile Data products
· Guide and support various teams in defining the right strategy and tactics to launch and support mobile data products after the launch

Project Management
Plan and manage the launch project to be delivered as expected from all functional areas. Identify obstacles early on and mitigate the risks; communicate effectively and guide the project team to deliver the required tasks on time.
Key activities:
· Plan activities in detailed level with all the functional areas
· Monitor the progress, assist with the tasks that require support from the Project Manager
· Focus on activities on the critical path and look for solutions to challenges with The company’s OpCo personnel, vendors and The Company Group persons
· Engage with company OpCo’s personnel with the delivery of tasks
· Communicate the status effectively to the project steering group in the local OpCo and Group’s Product Management
· Identify project risks early-on and create risk mitigation plans
· Manage timely and cost-effective project delivery

Essential Requirements
· Graduate (business/commercial economics or business administration)
· Previous experience in Mobile Data (GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA enabled) product launches and product management
· Affinity with and knowledge of the latest business developments, technologies and services used within the industry and affiliated industries
· Broad experience in an international marketing/consulting position within a large telecommunications company or proven ability to apply knowledge of one business sector to senior role in another sector
