Analyst

Our client, a specialist vegetable grower is looking for an Analyst to act on behalf of the company and provide an interface between the Customer and Growers/Suppliers in relation to marketing, stock replenishment and retail information.

Main Duties:

Act as contact at Asda House between the company and Client and provide regular updates to the Commercial Director.
Review and control the on-shelf availability of product within client premises on behalf of the company.
Liaise with the Production and Sales Department at the company during course of duties, to communicate any replenishment issues.
Liaise with Supplier/Growers in order to build and strengthen product knowledge and to keep abreast/manage stock levels.
Visit Client Retail Stores to gain Customer comments and opinions and to interface with Store employees regarding product marketing/displays.
As required participate in the Marketing Strategies in relation to seasonal and promotional ranges.

Knowledge of the fresh produce industry is essential. Ability to work on own initiative but also within a team environment in a busy department. Excellent communication skills, with a professional approach and manner at all levels.

The incumbent will predominately be based at ASDA House in Leeds, but may spend time at other locations during the course of their duties.
