Sales & Marketing Manager

Our client is an independent grower of high quality fresh produce in East Yorkshire. The Company has achieved exceptional growth in recent years, creating a business with a turnover in excess of £10 million, increasing year on year. They are continuing to build this sustained growth and are now looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to strengthen their existing management team.

The Role:
To perform the daily sales of all grown produce and plan order processing.
To develop existing and source potential new customers.
Source promotional and marketing information, using professional bodies within the marketing field.
Communicate and liase with Field Managers, General Production Manager and Logistics.
Work to create new product development and introduction to the market place.
Work with the existing PR Company.
Develop and create a daily telesales database.

The Person:

Will be an energetic and self-motivated individual ideally with an understanding of fresh vegetables.
Will possess both strategic and a commercial acumen.
Be a strong leader confident in their own ability to manage.
Have a professional manner with good communication and inter-personnel skills.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team environment but also independently
