Geo-Environmental Scientist

On behalf of our client we are actively seeking to recruit a Geo -environmental scientist.
For this position candidates should possess a relevant first degree, probably in Engineering geology, civil engineering or environmental sciences and probably 3-8 years relevant contaminated land experience, preferably within consultancy
The ideal candidate should possess or have experience of phase 1 desk studies, environmental risk assessments
Phase 2 Ground investigations with interpretative reports
Quantitative Risk assessments using SNIFFER, RBCA etc
Liason with Regulators to agree remediation startegies
Specification and interpretation of lab contamination test results
Supervision of remediation including producinf method statements and validation
A good knowledge of relevant guidance and regulations
