Sales Engineer / Presales Consultant for DACH region - Based in Germany

Market Leader in the Enterprise Security Sector
£50-55k + Attractive Bonus + Car Allowance + Stock Options

This is a fantastic opportunity to help establish the DACH business for a very successful US vendor who is the leader in their sector. The company manufactures leading edge enterprise-wide security solutions and need an experienced presales consultant with a track record supporting large enterprise deals ($250k-$1m+).

The ideal candidate will have the following technical knowledge:
o NOS Administration – UNIX (any flavour, RedHat & Solaris a plus), Microsoft 2000, 2003 and XP server
o Network Infrastructure Architecture - Cisco (routers, switches, VPN or Storage a plus)
o Network Protocol – TCP/IP required
o Security Products – Working understanding of Firewalls, IDS, IPS, as well as encryption techniques and methods.
Alongside your technical background, you will be passionate and enthusiastic about the sales process, and will have a track record of success in the commercial environment.
