KEY OBJECTIVES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purpose
To assist with the management of services enabling clients to meet their expectations and maximize the investment potential of their property.
Context
Closer working relationships required with other parts of the business e.g. consulting and research, agency teams and valuation
Good knowledge of market and understanding of investment criteria
Ability to source a product and put a deal together
Requirement for wider awareness of local area (e.g. demographics, infrastructure, local education facilities as well as information on physical premises)
Changing profile of occupiers (and hence clients) – e.g. call centres, dot.com distribution networks and co-location operations – surveyors need to become used to handling different types of client and satisfying their needs (e.g. broad-band telephone links)

Supervisory responsibility for between 1 & 4 team members at junior level in relation to specific projects
No budgetary responsibility
CANDIDATE PROFILE: Core responsibilities
Manage and deliver institutional client investment requirements
Manage existing client accounts, build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
Carry out activities to develop and maintain interest in properties, developments and financial services
Lead and co-ordinate the activities of team members in delivering client solutions
Provide opportunities for junior staff to develop knowledge and skill
Personally undertake research and implementation activities
Support Director in providing advice to clients

A wide range of local business contacts to gather relevant services (e.g. identify a good fit-out contractor, removals companies)
Liaise with a range of professionals – e.g. lawyers, bank managers, local councilors, pressure groups to identify useful local intelligence

Experience
Not likely to have less than 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience in a property/ investment related field of work
Could have worked in a range of areas – e.g. corporate, bank, industry
EDUCATION: Degree (cognate) OR
Degree (non-cognate) plus post-graduate qualification in relevant technical specialism – e.g. economics, strategy, accountancy, banking, property management or OUR CLIENT distance learning programme
OR Relevant professional body qualification – e.g. MRICS, FRICS etc.
COMPENSATION: The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive and attractive compensation package, which includes a base salary, a performance-based bonus and equity.
