Customer Care/Telesales Advisor

Enthustiastic individual who enjoys talking! This is not a cold calling sales role - working within a busy sales and marketing team. Contacting potential customers from a specialist database to investigate who to speak with, what works we could do and maintaining your own system for recording all these details.


- To maintain CRM system with up to date information on clients
- Act at the internal sales support arm, responsible for regular planned calls to existing clients as a customer care account management call
- Ability to interpret clients responses and to pick up on any job opportunities they may mention for themselves or other prospects
- Follow up customer care satisfaction calls to existing clients after works completed and to input into database
- Clients include large blue chip clients through to local councils, schools and private businesses
- Working with the marketing department to implement successful mailshot campaigns to new prospect markets
- Prepare regular reports on sales call activity to sales and marketing department
- Support the team with completion of PQQ and Tender Quote directories as and when required – sourcing information and requesting information from management


- Previous telesales/customer care experience ideal, within the commercial industry an ideal
- Confident strong character
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize own work schedules, planning your calendar for follow up calls and diarising future calls
- Good IT skills, Microsoft Office packages
- Comfortable holding discussions with varying levels of management, both clients and colleagues
- Sales focused individual – with an investigative and inquisitive mind to pull out informative information from clients calls
