Position Profile

Role: SAP Business Intelligence Consultant (BI Group)

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will participate as a team member working to facilitate business process definition and modeling for the BW development environment. You will work with end users to define reporting requirements, convert them into functional specifications, assess them against standard business content and determine the required BW design.

You will also design, implement and support complex extraction, transformation and loading operational setups, create and maintain ODS's and InfoCubes, and establish and monitor process chains. You must also be able to support post-production maintenance functions, documentation, and end-user training. This position has custodial responsibilities broadly across many business areas and IT functions in an effort to maintain the BW and SAP program objectives as well as to meet program implementation expectations.

In this role:

• You will work with end users to define reporting requirements, convert them into functional specifications, assess them against standard business content, existing architecture and other BI Reporting systems to determine the most optimal BI Architecture design, with focus on SAP BI.

• You will also design, implement and support complex extractions, transformation and loading operational setups, create and maintain Architectural Model, and establish and monitor process chains.

• You will also develop BI Master Data, by creating custom InfoObjects and identifying single version of truth of Master Data from various sources

• You must also be able to support post-production maintenance functions, documentation, and end-user training.

• This position has custodial responsibilities broadly across many business areas and IT functions in an effort to help develop and maintain the BW and SAP program objectives as well as to meet program implementation expectations.

Key Requirements:

A minimum of 3+ year’s SAP BW – Hands-on technical experience with:
• Administrator Workbench,
• Configuration of InfoProviders,
• Time-dependent and time-independent master data/hierarchies
• SAP BW data modeling
• Data staging
• Data extraction expertise
• Implementation of enhancements/user exits in R/3 and BW including variable exits
• Experience implementing complex start/update routines and formulas
• SAP Data Dictionary and concept of Master Data
• Requirements definition process and BW lifecycle
• SAP BW Business Explorer
• SAP BW Web Application Designer

The knowledge of those skills is a plus

• BW integration experience with APO
• ABAP/4 Programming, including Object Oriented ABAP/4
• Business Server Pages (BSP) Programming
• BW Integration with SAP CRM
