Software Developer

My client is a leading software company based in Cambridgeshire.

The software developer wil be Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and testing product source code, product builds and installers.
You will be a fast learner and self motivated with programming experience, particularly in C/C++ with MFC and Windows Platform SDK. The ability to communicate with colleagues and customers is essential, commercial awareness and a broad knowledge of technologies an advantage.

Core Technical Skills (not required but desired):
C/C++ programming (Visual C++, MFC, SUN Pro C, GCC etc.), Internet programming (NSAPI/ISAPI/CGI, Javascript, JAVA, HTTP, SMTP, POP3), JAVA Cross platform (NT, 95,98,2000, UNIX - AIX, Solaris, HPUX), Experience of ODBC, SQL, Notes, Exchange, Client/Server Communications application development, Scripting (Perl, Shell) Experience in video processing and compression algorithms

base is negotiable £24-30k according to Experience.
