CHIEF ESTIMATOR and BUYER

Leading independent Asset Management group require an experienced Building Surveyor with RICS Building Surveying qualification In addition the successful candidate will have previous management experience of contractors, a knowledge of procurement routes for building and associated routes, especially JCT forms, a good working knowledge of H&S compliance including CDM(an advantage),

Experience in AutoCAD would be an advantage and experience of carrying out performance reviews of contractors and the continual review of life cycle costs and KPIs.

The role will be responsible for managing and procuring Lifecycle works, Annual Maintenance Plans and variation works together with giving technical advice and support to operational contract staff. Auditing, directing and reporting on the performance of contractors and in house staff with regard to Life Cycle and hard services works. Supporting the Life Cycle and Technical Services Manager in ensuring that effective and economical service delivery is provided across the estate. The successful candidate will be expected to deal with users on site regarding hard services and minor FM issues.
