Applications Development Engineer

Applications Development Engineer with experience in both hardware and software for embedded systems.
The successful applicant will meet the following requirements:


Required Experience

Good written and verbal communication skills

5+ years experience developing embedded systems and applications

3+ years experience of analogue and digital hardware design

3+ years experience programming in embedded C and Assembler

Experience of microcontroller bus and memory systems

Interfacing of digital and analogue circuitry

Microcontroller architectures

PCB design using schematic capture



Desirable Experience

UART/SPI/I2C/USB/Ethernet

Real time applications

Design for low power

PCB layout

RTOS/embedded operating systems

Peripheral/device drivers for microprocessors

Knowledge of TCP/IP or other protocol stacks

Programming in C or C++ under Windows
