Project Engineer
Project Engineer - Slough
Reporting to the Project Manager. Applicants must be able to work as a team member. Candidates will need to manage their own day-to-day activities, including managing, updating and producing reports.
Responsibilities will include liasing with internal and external contacts on a regular basis. Some of the duties involved will be:
• Provide project-engineering support to the roll out of projects.
• Ensure that all project issues relating to rollout are met so that scheduled activities are achieved.
• Provide face-to-face support to the customer to ensure targets are met.
• Provide reports to all parties.
• Track progress of projects.
• Provide reports on projects.
• Maintain documentation relating to projects.
• Arrange access to sites so that work can commence.
• Interface with sub-contractors on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure quality the work carried out by sub-contractors is at least equal to standards.
• Assist the WTN Project Manager with day-to-day activities as and when required.
• Report to WTN Project Manager any issues for escalation.
• Ensure all installation materials that are issued are maintained and ordered.
• Responsible for compiling and tracking quotations related to CR build work.
The ideal candidate should have experience of working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills as well as identify problems promptly and resolve issues. The individual must have good working knowledge of MS Office. Applicants must have a mature, reliable and structured approach to their work. They should demonstrate the ability to work flexibly, take ownership for the support function and be keen to take on additional tasks to assist with the achievement of project deadlines.
