ASSET MANAGERS (CDO)

This is a great opportunity to join this expanding City Investment Managers with a leading presence in the European CLO sector and currently managing over Euro 2.1bn assets across 7 transactions.

Working within the CDO Administration Team which is responsible for the tracking of the funds’ investments and ensuring that the investors and Portfolio Managers have accurate and timely portfolio reports. The team is also responsible for the documentation of trade settlement and deals extensively with Third Party Administrators and Custodians.

The current vacancy is for a senior role and has arisen due to the expansion of the business. The role would suit an individual who has had a minimum of 2 years experience within the CDO sector together with a background in the Securities Markets.

Principle Accountabilities

The candidate will be trained on the company’s portfolio system and the role includes but is not limited to:

- Checking and approval of trustee reports on a number of the company’s CDO’s.

- Performing hypothetical trade analysis and providing the Portfolio Managers with relevant feedback.

- Dealing with queries from investors or rating agencies and preparing monthly investor reports.

Essential
- At least two years direct experience as either a CDO Investment Manager or alternatively two years experience at a CDO Trustee.

- Understanding of rating agency CDO criteria.

- A positive attitude and good team work skills.

- Good understanding of CDO documentation with ability to explain the effect of technical clauses to Portfolio Managers.

- Good accuracy and attention to details while working to meet strict deadlines.

- Ability to resolve queries and deal with third party administrators and custodians professionally

Desirable

- Five years overall experience within the Securities Markets would be preferable and some experience supervising staff would be an advantage.
