We require a full-time permanent Linux Administrator to support the company’s growing and diverse Linux based systems. A crucial part is planning and implementing new and innovative systems to meet the increasing demands of employees as well as keeping existing systems fully functional. The candidate must be degree qualified (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 3 years solid and proven Linux Administration experience or alternatively have many years experience in this field. Applicants must possess the following skills and experience: > Red Hat Linux through to the latest Enterprise versions. > DNS, DHCP, NTP, FTP, NIS, Scripting and TCP-IP networking. > Good documentation and communication skills. It would be advantageous to possess: > CVS, Clearcase and Windows Administration skills. > Cisco networking or Red Hat Certification. Successful candidates will take responsibility for the growing number of Linux desktops and servers within a multi-platform environment
